I am writing You as a person who is concerned with the respect of Human Rights, therefore I like to express my concern about 

MAYKEL CASTILLO PÉREZ 

I am writing to bring attention to the case of musician Maykel Castillo Pérez, also known as Maykel Osorbo, and member of the San Isidro Movement. He was arrested in May 2021 and sentenced to nine years in prison, solely for exercising his rights to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly. He has been subjected to unjust detention, harassment and violent threats while in prison. His current health status is a significant concern. 

I strongly urge You to take immediate action and order the unconditional release of Maykel Castillo Pérez. Furthermore, I ask You to protect him from further harassment in prison and to guarantee his safety. In addition, I urge You to provide him with adequate healthcare, including outside prison. 

I thank You for Your attention in this very important matter, I am looking forward to Your reply and positive news about Maykel Castillo Pérez.
